New fly ash transportation system for boiler 6 in Högdalen

Fly ash from the boiler is today transported with three parallel pneumatic transportation systems to the fly ash silo for boiler 6; 1 from economiser bottom (built in 2014) and 2 parallel lines from the fabric filter. There are also 2 parallel NID-reactors (NID=Novel Integrated Desulfurization) before the fabric filter with two ash senders connected to the pneumatic pipe system from the fabric filter. The wear and tear on the pneumatic system from fabric filter has been severe on pipes and silo inlets with frequent ash leakages affecting the environment and work health and safety as a consequence. Fly ash transportation lines from fabric filter to fly ash silo will now be exchanged including new ash senders, transportation pipes, booster valves, instrumental air connections, power supply installation and updated control system with programming and new process images in purchaser's ABB 800XA boiler control system.
