Procurement for Nye Orkland — Voluntary Ex Ante Transparency Notice for Gemini Software Delivered by Powel AS

From 1.1.2020, the municipalities of Orkdal, Meldal, Agdenes and parts of Snillfjord shall merge and establish 1 municipality (called “nye Orkland”). The mentioned municipalities, with the exception of Agdenes, have previously procured Gemini software from Powel. The software is owned by each municipality and is currently used as a central trade management system within the water and sewage sector, as well as within roads, construction and service reception. The software and the subject data bases constitute an imperative part of the daily operations and it is vital for operation related assignments, planning and decisions.
