The Chilbolton Observatory wishes to procure an S-band radar transmitter for use in conjunction with its existing 25 m dish antenna, radar receiver, exciter and data acquisition system. The transmitter will be used as part of a radar system to support various scientific studies in the areas of meteorology, atmospheric remote sensing, radiowave propagation and space research. Potential suppliers should note that only a transmitter is required, rather than a complete radar system.
