Electronic timekeeping systems. The Master Equipment Outfit otherwise known as Precise Time and Frequency is fitted to 26 platforms, including T23s,T42s and T45s in the RN. It is used to provide a precise time backup functionality in the event of the GPS Jamming by hostile force. Outfit FSF allows Ships to communicate correctly,in terms of data transmission and recieiving. FSF provides the capabilty for SFOT, 2QCD, ICS6 and the Combat System Highway as well as providing a frequency standard that allows operation of the spread spectrum hopping secure communication system Saturn.
