The National Police Board of Finland is planning the procurement of devices and software for downloading and analyzing driving and resting time data from digital tachographs. The goods procured must comply with the EU regulation 165/2014 and must support smart tachographs and older digital tachographs. The National Police Board is also interested in devices and software capable of remote checking of data from moving vehicles. Current understanding of possible procured areas are: - software for analyzing data and indicating breach of driving or resting times, misuse, infringement, or manipulation - devices for downloading driving time data - additional devices supporting remote checking of data from moving vehicles - additional software or software module for analyzing DSRC data - repairs, updates, and upgrades for devices - development and possible operation of the software system - end user training.
