Breaking up of existing pavements, road kerbs and the like, the breaking up and removal of existing road surfacing or the planning and resurfacing of existing road surfacing. Realignment of new kerbing and the creation of wider pavements, dedicated parking bays and new tarmacadam roadways together with the installation of new traffic control signage. Works also comprise the remodelling and upgrading of Colquhoun Square and the West Esplanade. The works will be carried out in phases to minimise disruption to residents and retailers within the affected areas of the project.
