NHS Arden & Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (AGCSU) on behalf of the commissioners, NHS Coventry and Rugby CCG, would like to invite providers to attend a Market Engagement Event which will inform the market of the Trust's intentions to procure a partner to Summarise Patient Care Records across the CCG's General Practitioner sites (up to 74 practices and up to 500,000 records) The purpose of the summary is to enable the GP registrar or FY2 doctor, with no prior knowledge of the patient, to quickly and easily access the patient's significant and relevant medical history and make use of this, if appropriate, during the consultation. This means that the summary should be: — Accurate — Up to date — Easily accessed — Uncluttered Summarising can be done by doctors, practice nurses, other professions allied to clinical medicine, medical students, or other suitably trained, supervised staff.
