The NHSS NSS National Distribution Centre (NDC) in Larkhall operates its warehouse facility using leased mechanical handling equipment (MHE). The NDC currently operates a 24/5 operation with a 24/7 operation during peak times. The MHE provided by the Contractor will support the Authority in the following objectives: fast and effective delivery to hospitals; a safe working environment; efficient and accurate picking; 100 % uptime of MHE as a pooled resource. Leased MHE is required over a 7-year period. Note: The buyer is using PCS-Tender to carry out this procurement process.
