This Prior Information Notice (PIN) has been produced to notify suppliers of Cardiff Council's intent to develop a new state of the art Remote Concierge & Alarm Receiving Centre meeting BS5979 Category II standards. The Authority is minded to split this Procurement in to two distinct Lots but is happy to consider alternative routes to market if appropriate: — Required solution (technology, software and devices including cameras) required to deliver services as detailed in this PIN. — Supporting network infrastructure inclusive of data storage solution. The Alarm Receiving Centre will be required to deliver the following services: Remote Concierge; — Active CCTV Monitoring; — Concierge Services; — Mobile Warden Deployment; Alarm Receiving & Response; — Community Alarm Service; — Telecare/Telehealth Service; — Alarm Monitoring; — Out of Hours Service. The service will support Cardiff Council's key strategic outcomes as follows: — People in Cardiff have a clean, attractive and sustainable environment; — People in Cardiff are safe and feel safe; — Cardiff is a great place to live, work & play; — Cardiff is a fair, just and inclusive society. This Service will support wider Anti-Social and Community Cohesion Agendas and also offer an appropriate commercial operating model with income opportunities. Wherever possible, innovation is welcomed in the development of solutions to meet requirements detailed in the attached document. Open Days are intended to be held with potential suppliers when Market interest has been identified– further detail will be provided closer to the time.
