This Project aims to restore areas of bare peat within the Peak District National Park and South Pennines through the application of lime and fertiliser. 1. The objective of this Contract is to procure, store, deliver to the Lift Site, and apply the Materials to areas of Moorland in the Dark Peak and South Pennines within the prescribed time, at rates to be determined and notified by the Nominated Officer prior to the Works Commencement Date. The Materials comprise: a. granulated lime fertiliser (“Lime”); and b. NPK fertiliser, in two varieties: i. Initial Fertiliser; and ii. Maintenance Fertiliser. The application of seed is subject to a separate Contract.
