PURCH1024 Supply & Installation of CT Scanners. Lot 1 – Premium Broad Detector Array CT Scanner. Lot 2 – Second Line Broad Detector Array CT Scanner. The University of Glasgow is undertaking the development of imaging capability within Glasgow. This project involves the acquisition of scanning equipment to be housed in the South Glasgow Hospital site. We now require to go to tender for the items of imaging equipment which will not be installed until the main building work is complete and the main building contractors have left the site. After the initial Tender evaluation based on the award criteria the University of Glasgow reserves the right to invite shortlisted Suppliers may be asked to provide a presentation. For the avoidance of doubt, any brand names mentioned are 'or equivalent'. All prices should be submitted ex VAT, carriage paid and installed. The main building contractor's scope of work is shown on the series of room layout plans and series of construction details that are included with the tender information. It is the intention that all shell (finished room) and core works, which will include the relevant shielding, will be completed by the main building contractor prior to delivery of the equipment. To facilitate the completion of the shell and core works any requirement that you have for the rooms, in terms of scanner and enabling works must be included with the tender return.
