The City of Edinburgh Council is looking to procure the delivery, installation and commissioning of a mobile shelving system (MSS) to provide optimum storage for the historical records of the Council and its predecessor bodies. The MSS must be electronic; conform to the requirements of the British Standard BS5454:2000 Recommendations for the Storage and Exhibition of Archival Documents; and be capable of linking to a database to aid record retrieval.
