Framework for Consultancy Services in relation to the design and construction of various projects, currently being those located at the College's campuses at Tonbridge, Ashford, Folkestone and Dover with an estimated construction value of 35 000 000 GBP. The Framework is in five lots with variants being applied to some or all campuses. The Framework Agreement will entail appointing consultants for various consultancy commissions including the following lots: 1. Project manager/CDM co-ordinator 2. Cost manager 3. Lead designer/architect 4. Structural and civils engineer 5. Mechanical and electrical engineer The Contracting Authority is predominantly seeking professional services for RIBA stages E to L, but also some A to D. Details of the development at each campus are as follows: Ashford - new building to accommodate general purpose teaching, technology centre, associated support space and to provide landscaping. Approximately 8 000 m2 in Phase 1 and 3 000 m2 in Phase 2. Approximate construction cost of 15 000 000 GBP for Phase 1 and 6 000 000 GBP for Phase 2. Folkestone - new building to accommodate general purpose teaching, associated support space and to provide landscaping. Approximately 4 000 m2, with an approximate construction cost of 8 000 000 GBP. Dover - refurbishment/adaptation of existing buildings to accommodate general purpose teaching, general engineering, motor engineering, associated support space and to provide landscaping. Approximately 5 000 m2 with an approximate construction cost of 3 000 000 GBP. Tonbridge - new building to accommodate technology centre and to provide landscaping. Approximately 3 000 m2 with an approximate construction cost of 3 000 000 GBP.
