The City of Edinburgh Council wishes to commission up to three organisations or consortia under a framework agreement to provide a full CDM Co-ordinator’s Service in accordance with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007 and associated Approved Code of Practice. The contract is for an undefined programme of construction projects planned by the City of Edinburgh Council and associated public bodies over the next three years with the option to extend for 12 months. The main duties of CDM co-ordinators are to advise and assist the client in meeting their duties as a client under the Construction Design and Management Regulations. The majority of these projects will fall within the range of 100 000 GBP to 5 000 000 GBP. However, on occasions, projects over £5M may be included in this contract. The duration of the framework agreement will be three years with the option to extend for 12 months. It should be noted that the volume and value of commissions instructed under this contract cannot be guaranteed.
