Framework agreement: Maintenance training Gulfstream GIV and G550.

The Swedish Defence Material Administration (FMV) is about to procure Technical Maintenance Training for Gulfstream GIV and G550. FMV conducts this procurement on behalf of The Swedish Armed Forces (SwAF). Responsable for implementing the training in SwAF is the The Armed Forces Technical School (AFTS). This procurement concerns a Framework agreement Maintenance training GIV and G550 for 36 months with two options; Option 1, Framework agreement 24 months and Option 2, Framework agreement 24 months. AFTS have been using the training solution for the Gulfstream aircrafts with an external provider of technical training for several years. The training required have been EASA Part-147 and Part-66 regulated Maintenance initial courses/Type courses and non-regulated recurrent and maintenance update courses. SwAF train its personnel according to the Swedish Rules of Military Aviation, which is very similar to EASA with specific military applications and add-ons. Due to the importan.
