Supply and installation of a single wind turbine at Orphir Primary School, Stenness Primary School, St Andrews Primary School, Dounby Primary School, Hoy Outdoor Centre and Birsay Outdoor Centre. — Turbines must have a maximum hub hight of no more that 15 metres, — each turbine must be capable of generating at least 15,000 kWh per year based on NOAL wind speed database for the grid reference for each of the installation sites, — the Contractor will be required to supply, install and set to work the wind turbines at the various locations identified by 19.8.2011. A full description of the requirements is set out in the Invitation to Tender document.
