The scope of the contract is for the design, supply of materials, manufacture, assembly, test and delivery of two soft x-ray mechanical mirror systems (for mirrors M1 and M2) for the Diamond I21 IXS beamline. An additional soft x-ray mechanical mirror system (for mirror M4) is included as an option. Each of the systems includes the mirror mount, water cooling systems (if required), ultra-high vacuum vessel housing the optic(s), and motion mechanics. The mirror optics themselves are not part of this tender.
