Pressure Relieving Beds and Mattresses Rental

NHS GG&C have a requirement for the rental of pressure redistributing mattresses to deal with up to Grade 4 pressure damage and complex wounds. To also include specialist beds including spinal and bariatric. All products provided must be maintained, repaired and tracked. An “Out of Hours” process exists for critical areas where respiratory, spinal, bariatric, low level beds and air fluidised products will be available 24/7 — 365 days. An online ordering, tracking and reporting system will be required and all national and local infection control policies and procedures adhered too. Products are required to support health care activity in all areas of NHS GG&C, primarily Acute but also Mental Health sites as required and a number of private Nursing Homes with NHS Beds/Patients. It will cover the provision of clinical beds required for moving and handling, bariatric nursing and spinal. It does not cover the provision of general Acute Hospital Beds.
