The proposed project, which has a total estimated cost of EUR 9 million equivalent, will require the procurement of the following goods, works and services using the proceeds of the loan and the grant: • Low-floor 12 m trolleybuses (including spare parts and tools) • Low-floor 18 m articulated trolleybuses (including spare parts and tools) • Workshop maintenance and diagnostic equipment including: • Trolleybus automated washing units • Depot modernisation • Extension of the network from the railway station to the bus station N3 and further on to Galytska St (including construction of two 15 MWt electric traction substations and catenary network of 3.3 km two-way and 3km one-way along with 480 trolley poles) Tendering for the above contracts is expected to begin in the second quarter of 2017. Contracts to be financed with the proceeds of the loan and the grant from the Bank will be subject to the Bank's Procurement Policies and Rules and will be open to firms from any country. The proceeds of the Bank's loan will not be used for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, or for any import of goods, if such payment or import is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations or under a law or official regulation of the Purchaser's country.
