Lone Worker Safety System & SEND device plus service.

To support Forestry Commission operations the intention is to award a contract for the supply and operation of a Lone Worker Safety System (Lot 1) and SEND (Satellite Emergency Notification Device) devices (Lot 2) plus associated services. For the Lot 1 requirements the service will utilise the Mobile Phone Network as the primary communications gateway offering users controlled access to the Lone Worker Safety System via a managed bureau service operating as an Alarm Receiving Centre. For the Lot 2 requirements the service will utilise a SEND based technology plus the supporting Alarm Receiving Centre.
