The Department for Transport awarded North East Lincolnshire Council Local Sustainable Transport Funding in May 2012. Part of the Council's Local Sustainable Transport bid included the provision of a Real Time Bus Passenger Information System. This will be North East Lincolnshire's first Real Time Bus Passenger Information system. The Council wishes to procure a modern showcase Real Time Information System which provides the travelling public with the most up to date travel information. North East Lincolnshire aims to deliver this project in partnership with Stagecoach. North East Lincolnshire Council are seeking expressions of interest for a framework arrangement for the supply, installation and commissioning including optional maintenance of RTPI for the progressive expansion of RTPI across North East Lincolnshire. The council is seeking tenders on the basis of two lots: Lot One - Stagecoach providing AVL data from ETM to the LA back office system (provided by the supplier), required SIRI links, provision of web based office work stations, on street screens, bus punctuality monitoring software, maintenance of the back office system/ on street signs, project management, training and software support. Lot Two - Successful tenderer to set up & provide AVL (including any required SIM cards) from ETM on up to 80 Stagecoach buses, linking the AVL data to the back office system (provided by the supplier), any required SIRI links, provision of web based office work stations, on street screens, bus punctuality monitoring software, maintenance of the back office system/ on street signs, project management, training and software support. ITT submissions must be made for both lots. The council will only award one lot. This framework arrangement is also open to North Lincolnshire Council to access. Pre-Qualification Questionnaires can be downloaded via http://www.yortender.co.uk. PQQs must be submitted via YORtender (http://www.yortender.co.uk) no later than 12:00 noon 28.5.2013.
