Translink operate a fleet of 1 400 buses and coaches and 150 railway vehicles across Northern Ireland. These are maintained in workshops in the greater Belfast Area and garages across Northern Ireland. Translink requires a competent contractor(s) to provide the following: A break down of the product ranges with estimated spend (based on historical usage) is as follows (Note that as many of the existing products can be used for several tasks the annual values have been estimated): Lot 1 fasteners translink require a range of fastener products. The successful supplier will have to provide industrial storage cabinets to contain the fasteners range supplied via direct line feed. Annual spend 50 000 GBP; Lot 2 electrical consumables translink require a range of electrical consumables such as bulbs, fuses, cables and connectors. The successful supplier will have to provide industrial storage cabinets to contain the range supplied via direct line feed. Annual spend 100 000 GBP; Lot 3 hand tools and tool consumables translink require a range of hand tools and tool consumables such as screwdrivers, spanners, drill bits and grinding discs. Annual spend 200 000 GBP; Lot 4 electric power tools translink require a range of electric power tools such as drills, grinders, jigsaws. Annual spend 100 000 GBP; Lot 5 air tools and accessories translink require a range of air tools and accessories such as air drills, rivet guns, air wrenches, hoses and fittings. Annual spend 100 000 GBP; Lot 6 welding accessories and consumables translink require a range of welding accessories and consumables such as welding rods, welding wire and associated welding PPE. Annual spend 50 000 GBP. The initial contract will be for a period of 3 years with options to extend for a further 2 periods of 1 year each.
