Driving Innovative Models of Care Through Effective Commissioning

In partnership with Shared Lives Plus and Think Local, Act Personal (TLAP), SCIE will finalise and identify the launch of 4 innovation demonstrator sites in 2019/20 to scale innovative models of care within their local areas through effective commissioning. This will work in tandem with the existing innovation network and advisory group that SCIE have set up in 2019/20. As part of this work programme, innovation demonstrator sites must hold a focus on initiatives to develop people powered results and other design-led approaches, the co-production approach, the asset-based area approach, intergenerational care and trial new outcomes-based payment mechanisms and integrator models. SCIE will work closely with each area to work on models that are both innovative, credible and designed to deliver the best results for each local authority.
