Warwickshire CC wish to commission a single provider to deliver a School Health and Wellbeing Service within Warwickshire. The SHWBS will offer Warwickshire children, young people and families evidence-based health and wellbeing services with a focus on prevention and early intervention. It will provide additional support for those who need it to improve and maintain their health and wellbeing, life chances, protect them from abuse and neglect and reduce inequalities, so that Warwickshire children and young people are in the best possible health to achieve and benefit from their education. School health staff and their teams will use their autonomy, clinical skills and professional judgment to ensure all children and young people from pre-school entry receive the full service offer (HCP 5-19), with access to services and the early identification of complex needs, with timely referral and access to specialist services.
