The Contracting Authority/Employer is the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure. The contract’s scope includes the administrative, financial, safety and environmental monitoring and supervision of the Works Contract for the Removal of sunken German Fleet from the Danube River, to be implemented under the FIDIC Turn-Key contract conditions (Silver Book, FIDIC, Second Edition 2017) and Serbian Law regarding this Works. The scope of the Works Contract refers to removal of 21 sunken vessels from the WW2 from the Danube River near Prahovo (km 862-857), lying in the area containing a number of identified UXO. The project’s purpose is to ensure fairway parameters for safe inland navigation, according to the international waterway Class VII requirements. Financing - Finance Contract for Serbian IWW infrastructure between the Republic of Serbia and EIB (“Official Gazette of RS”, No. 2/19), with approved co-financing from the WBIF in accordance with the Grant Agreement.
