Provision of a unit load device storage facility.

Storage units. Requirement. The MOD has a requirement for a unit load device (ULD) storage facility to be located at Royal Air Force Brize Norton allowing the RAF to be compliant with International Air Transport Association (IATA) standards. The system is to be single level and match the available footprint; approximately 52m x 21m. The system shall have the ability to be relocated with minimal rework if required in the future. The system is to facilitate ULD restraint. The system shall be capable of storing a minimum of 150 ULD's. The system will be located outdoors and as such shall be appropriately weather proofed. The suitability for purpose, reliability, ease of use and maintenance will be considerably important in the selection process. Project management support documentation. Project management plan. BS EN ISO 9001:2008 (or an internationally recognised alternative) is a pre requisite and a copy of the accreditation is to be supplied with the request to participate. Expressions of interest. Expressions of interest are invited from suitably qualified companies with proven experience in the supply and support of ULD storage facilities likely to meet our requirements. The Evaluation Criteria will be the most economically advantageous.
