Combined construction and land purchase development – Elizabeth Road, Cannock.

Pursuant to OJEU Contract Notice, 2010/S 213-326579 of 3.11.2011, the Contracting Authority sought expressions of interest and subsequently invited tender submissions from suitably qualified developers in respect of Phases 1 and 2 of its proposed development project at the Elizabeth Street site, Cannock, which will principally involve: Phase 1 – the demolition and construction of approximately 100 housing units for affordable housing and associated communal areas, external works and main services, including site remediation; and. Phase 2 – a land purchase offer in connection with the demolition and construction of approximately 50 houses, with the developer to acquire the remaining land on the site and demolish and develop housing for outright sale by the developer. The contract has now been awarded following the conclusion of the competitive dialogue process.
