The contracting authority would like to receive tenders for the delivery of the following: The Norwegian Public Roads Administration requests tenders for the maintenance of ‘RoAr’ friction meters and Oscar calibration meters. The friction meter is a quality assurance tool that shall be used on the roads all-year round and is an important tool for assessing the correct result of measures and that agreed standards are kept. Oscar is the inspection tool which verifies the accuracy of other meters. The Norwegian Public Roads Administration therefore requests a system for maintenance of 5 friction meters, referred to as RoAR and the calibration meter referred to as Oscar. The RoAR meters are located in the Norwegian Public Roads Administration's 5 regions. Oscar is located at Vegdirektoratet (Directorate of Public Roads). The service is expected to be provided as soon as the contract has been signed. The 1 st follow-up meetings are expected to be implemented 1 year subsequent to signing contract. The scope of the contract is: The agreement period is 2 years from the date that both parties sign the contract. The estimated contract value is 6 000 000 NOK over a 4 year period. Options: The Contracting authority has an option to prolong the agreement for 1 + 1 years, so that the total possible contract period is 4 years. Number of tenderers: For this procurement, a contract will be signed with 1 tenderer.
