Sheltered housing construction work. Lincolnshire County Council (LCC) is seeking to support a programme of Extra Care Housing across the county. LCC will consider contributing land and / or cash to a maximum budget value of 8 000 000 GBP. to provide the maximum number of units possible with the minimum requirement being for a total of 600 units to be delivered through the defrayment of this funding. LCC intend to award a Public Works Concession Contract, potentially to more than one provider, who may provide for the delivery of a differing number of units (subject to the minimum number being delivered in the aggregate) on the basis of a contribution model. . Each facility will be required to provide a level of communal accommodation and meet other minimum requirements. For example the buildings will need to be flexible to support all individuals including those with dementia or mobility needs enabling residents to remain in their property as there care and support needs change without the need for the resident to relocate too alternative accommodation..
