The FSCS requires a dedicated Work Area Recovery site, including Hosting capability. The service provider is to provide a recovery facility for approximately 40 persons, equipped with desks, chairs, telephones and adequate ancillary equipment such as printers, faxes and photocopiers and access to IT infrastructure. The facility must be able to house both a meeting room (to accommodate 10) and secure room (to accommodate 4) within the dedicated area. It is expected that should the named dedicated facility become unavailable, access to a similarly provisioned site will be provided. The facility must be available within 1hr of invocation on a 24/7 365 basis. The facility shall be available for testing / exercising during normal business hours, and the provider shall make available technical resources as required. The site should be not less than 7 miles from EC3A 7QU, nor more than 20 miles. The site should be accessible by various modes of public transport and will be within an easy reach of local amenities. Further, parking should be available either on-site or nearby.
