The Department of Ecology and Genetics, Uppsala University hosts the Uppsala Single Cell genomics facility (SiCell) which is part of SciLifeLab-Uppsala. The objective of SiCell is to be a national and European infrastructure for single cell genomics and provide services in this area to researchers from multiple disciplines. As part of this mission, we are upgrading SiCell with an advanced flow cytometer for single cell genomics applications for bacteria, archaea, viruses and smaller eukaryote cells.
