Pembrokeshire County Council invites tenders on behalf of the Welsh Purchasing Consortium to set up a Framework Agreement for the Provision of Glass, Polycarbonate and Double Glazing Units to participating members within the Welsh Purchasing Consortium. The Framework Agreement is open to Welsh Purchasing Consortium. The Members of the Welsh Purchasing Consortium are: — Blaenau Gwent County Council; — Bridgend County Council; — Caerphilly County Borough Council; — Cardiff City Council; — Carmarthenshire County Council; — Ceredigion County Council; — Merthyr Tydfil Borough Council; — Monmouthshire County Council; — Neath Port Talbot County Council; — Newport City Council; — Rhondda Cynon Taf County Council; — Swansea City Council; — Torfaen County Council; — Vale of Glamorgan Council; — Pembrokeshire County Council; — Powys County Council; — Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue (Associate Member); — South Wales Fire Rescue (Associate Member); — National Library of Wales (Associate Member); — Valleys 2 Coast (Associate Member); — Gwalia (Associate Member). The scoping exercise used to gauge the level of interest amongst WPC members resulted in eight committed to using the arrangement. These were: Pembrokeshire County Council; Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council; Cardiff City Council; Bridgend County Borough Council; Caerphilly County Borough Council; Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council; City and County of Swansea; Newport City Council. There are also three potential users namely Monmouthshire County Council, Torfaen County Borough Council and Vale of Glamorgan Council. This is a framework arrangement and no guarantee as to volumes or expenditure can be given. Your attention is drawn to the fact that some existing arrangements which will expire before the end of the framework may continue for individual Authorities during the period of the framework, after which the individual authority may utilise this framework. The framework is divided into the following three product Lots: Lot 1 – Glass (Delivery & Collection); Lot 2 – Polycarbonate (Delivery & Collection); Lot 3 – Double Glazed Units (Delivery & Collection). And sub divided into eleven geographical areas and Delivery or Collection. This procurement exercise will be conducted electronically using the Value Wales e-tendering portal.
