Supply of Transfers & Vinyls.

This is a requirement for the Translink Group. The Purchasing Department is part of the Finance Division. The Department performs a central core purchasing and a purchase ledger (invoice processing) function for the Translink Group. The terms ‘Translink’, ‘Translink Group’ and ‘Group’ are deemed to be interchangeable in the documents relating to this procurement and for the avoidance of doubt each means the Northern Ireland Transport Holding Company and all of its subsidiary companies including Citybus Limited, Flexibus Limited, NIR Travel Limited, Northern Ireland Railways Company Limited, Travel NI Limited, Translink NI Limited, and Ulsterbus Limited. Translink seek to appoint a suitable contractor to supply both transfers and vinyl for use on its motor vehicle fleet along with the option for a fitting service. Minimum Requirements Tenderers must be able to manufacture and supply all of the current range of products listed. Tenderers must be able to deliver directly to all Translink locations within Northern Ireland. Tenderers must be able to accept electronic formats of designs and have the ability to manipulate or scale any designs as required. Manufactured designs must have a minimum effective performance life of 5 years for black/white & coloured products and 3 years for metallic products Colours of any manufactured products must match with Translink existing paint and vinyl schemes Tenderers must be able to provide a fitting service at any Translink location within Northern Ireland Any designs and logos are copyright and cannot be used without agreement from Translink's Marketing Department. As part of the conditions of Tender Tenderers MUST provide, either directly or through its supply chain, a minimum of 3 Person Weeks of work experience or employment opportunities for an Unemployed Person(s), per 12-month contract period, to be arranged through an appropriate Northern Ireland Department for Employment and Learning (DEL) [or jurisdictional equivalent] supported programme. The tenderer shall provide the Unemployed Person with meaningful work experience training and development designed to enhance their opportunities for future employment. ‘Person Week’ means — in accordance with the relevant DEL approved scheme or equivalent. ‘Unemployed Person’ means — as defined by the relevant DEL approved scheme or equivalent.
