The Bank of England operates the United Kingdom's Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) system for the settlement of Sterling payment obligations between banks. The Bank wishes to contract for the delivery of an annual control audit of this key system. The aim of this audit is to explain the design and operation of the RTGS control environment to the Bank's key stakeholders, including the Bank's RTGS customers. This audit must be performed to a recognised Standard on Assurance Engagements, such as ISAE 3402.
