The Republic of Srpska (hereinafter referred to as "the Borrower") has received a loan from the European Investment Bank - EIB (hereinafter referred to as "the Bank") - towards the cost of the Road Rehabilitation Republika Srpska. This International Invitation for Tenders relates to contracts for the Rehabilitation of different sections of Regional Roads. These contracts will include rehabilitation of the following road sections: EIB/RS-2012-01W (Lot 1) R411 Čađavica – Han Kola length 31.1 km; EIB/RS-2012-02W (Lot 2) R440 Obodnik– Šiprage length 17.4 km. These contracts are expected to be implemented from 15 July 2012 to 15 December 2012. The criteria to be used in the tender evaluation is the lowest responsive evaluated Bid price, provided that such Bidder has been determined to be eligible and qualified in accordance with the provisions of the Instructions to Bidders. All firms are invited to participate in the tender. On request, against a faxed copy of the evidence of the remittance, the Bidding Documents may be sent by courier service if the transport is previously ordered by the Bidder in his country. The Borrower bears no responsibility for the delivery in such a case. A Bid Security of the following amount, or its equivalent in a convertible currency (for each Lot) fulfilling the conditions indicated in the Bidding Documents, must accompany all bids: — 70,000.00 KM for bid: EIB/RS-2012-01W (Lot 1) — 100,000.00 KM for bid: EIB/RS-2012-02W (Lot 2) All bids must be delivered in closed envelopes bearing the mention "Bid for Rehabilitation of Road Section..." not later than June 27, 2012 by 12:00 hours local time at the following address: Public Company "Republic of Srpska Roads" 8/X Republic of Srpska Square, 78000 Banja Luka Bosnia and Herzegovina Bids will be opened immediately in the presence of Bidder's representatives who choose to attend. Note: - Bidders are permitted to submit bids for any combination of Lots. - Bidders are permitted to offer discounts for more than one lot that will be taken into account in the evaluation process. - Bidders are required to meet cumulative qualification criteria for the award for more than one Lot.
