Doncaster Borough Council (the “Council”) is to transfer 7 residential care homes for older people (the "Homes”) as continuing residential care facilities. This will include the transfer of the property (by way of a 125 year lease), the business attached to each home and an ongoing care services requirement for each Home in relation to residents. The Council has made available some funding in relation to the transfer of each home. This funding has been limited to sums which are necessary to comply with the obligations being required by the Council. Details of the exact award and evaluation criteria were set out in the invitation to tender.
