Pipeline transport services. Transportation of military fuel to a number of defined strategic bases. Safeguarding of military and civil resilience of the network infrastructure through the effective maintenance of the assets in accordance with regulatory requirements. The Ministry of Defence (MOD) has signed a contract with Compañía Logística de Hidrocarburos CLH, S.A (CLH) for the sale of the Government Pipeline and Storage System (GPSS) business. The deal includes the award of an enduring Services Provision Contract (SPC), which is not capable of being voluntarily terminated earlier than April 2027, to CLH to deliver fuel transportation services to the UK and US military installations, and to safeguard the civil and military resilience of the GPSS infrastructure. Since the MOD has an enduring requirement for pipeline supply of fuel to key bases, the sale competition transaction included an enduring Services Provision Contract CB/PJHQ/278, to deliver fuel transportation services to the UK and US military installations, and to safeguard the civil and military resilience of the GPSS infrastructure. The estimated contract value of this enduring contract over the initial 12 years is 250 000 000 GBP, averaging 21 000 000 GBP per annum.
