Edinburgh Printmakers is a charitable organisation which provides a large open access printmaking production facility which allows artists to develop their practice in etching, lithography, screen-printing, relief printing, digital printmaking and light sensitive printmaking processes. Edinburgh Printmakers intends to redevelop the only remaining building of the North British Rubber Company at Fountainbridge in Edinburgh. The Category C Listed building dates from 1856 and is currently in poor condition and is on the Buildings at Risk Register. The scope of works will include the complete internal and external refurbishment of the building (circa 2 000 m 2 over 3 floors), together with the construction of 2 new 2-storey extensions (circa 500 m 2 over 2 floors).
