The service provider shall undertake general architect responsibility, including preparing proposals which meet aesthetical, functional and technical requirements made in each construction programme for the Parliament's ongoing construction projects in accordance with prevailing requirements and regulations. The service provider shall see to that the various projects are developed. This includes preparing calculation for expected time use as well as construction costs calculations for own field. Further description of the services included in the agreement is given in chapter 13 in the tender documents. The assignments will mainly include services in the Parliament's buildings. This involves the buildings in Karl Johansgt. 22, Prinsensgt. 26, Akersgt. 18 (rented building) and 21 and Nedre Vollgt. 18 and 20, Tollbugt. 31 as well as the 139 official residences mainly located in the centre of Oslo. The buildings, except official residences, are of considerable protection value. The buildings shall be reconstructed and restored in accordance with antiquarian principles/guidelines and in cooperation with the Directorate for Cultural Heritage. The estimated value of the framework agreement is approx. 2 000 000 NOK including VAT, per annum. The estimate is not binding for the Awarding Authority since the use of these services will vary from year to year. The works shall be executed as the service provider receives orders (call-off) from the Awarding Authority. The assignment will require that the service provider is often present at the Awarding Authority' sites.
