Positive displacement pumps with high accuracy.

The University of Stavanger, the Department of Petroleum Engineering, shall procure three or four positive displacement pumps with high accuracy The procurement of the fourth pump is dependent on sufficient budget appropriations. The pumps shall be used in a rock mechanical test setup. The pumps shall be used for keeping a constant dissolution pressure in several weeks as well as continuous flooding of various interstitial fluids, such as raw oil and high saline saltwater solution. It is important that the pump can keep a stable pressure in long periods, as the rock mechanical tests can be very sensitive for variations in pressure. This is a laboratory setup and the pump must be of such a size that makes it possible to place it on a laboratory bench. The pumps must be positive displacement pumps with high accuracy in regard to flow speed and pressure.
