Rv 13 Ryfast, E02 Solbakk tunnel from Solbakk

Ryfast is the connection between north Jæren and Ryfylke. It consists of the Solbakk tunnel from Strand to Hundvåg and the Hundvåg tunnel between Hundvåg and Stavanger as an alternative during the day for bybru. The Solbakk tunnel is 14,3 km long with two-tube tunnels and will be the world's longest underwater tunnel when it is completed. The E02 contract applies approximately half of the Solbakk tunnel from Solbakk and down to the middle of the fjord. The other half of the contract will be applied from Hundvåg side and will be published through a separate contract. The straining point for E02 project will be Solbakk and masses will be filled in the water just outside the portal of the tunnel. The tender documents can be obtained through a Internet web hotel.
