Ng homes is a trading name of North Glasgow Housing Association. ng homes is a not for profit social housing provider and is a registered social landlord based in the north side of Glasgow. It is ng homes intention to enter into a contract with 1 contractor to deliver a maintenance and reactive repair contract to their housing stock which contain communal TV aerials. The current average contract spend is approximately 50 000 GBP. The emergency response time required by ng homes is 3 hours this to apply on a 24 hour basis seven days a week including all public holidays and office closures. The contract will include an initial asset management inspection of the communal systems and a physical inspection of the head end for each system. The contract will also include a provisional section to allow for any upgrading of the stock which may be necessary and for installing new systems where these may be required. The maintenance works are to be priced on a cost per head end basis for the communal elements. Internal works where included in the contract will be priced per point. Only point failure and defective wiring failure works will be rechargeable to ng homes. The contract period will be 3 years with an option to extend for a further 2 year period on a yearly basis dependant upon satisfactory KPI performance and agreement of contract rates. The successful contractor will be expected to provide a community benefit to ng homes within the contract. This is likely to be but may not be confined to providing communal aerial installations to 1 or more of ng homes sheltered housing complexes.
