Die Fachhochschule Dortmund beabsichtigt sowohl 2 Datendirektverbindungen von ihren beiden Hauptstandorten zu einem lokalen Colocation-Anbieter (Los 1) als auch die Internetanbindung am Colocation-Standort zu vergeben (Los 2). Gegenstand dieser Ausschreibung sind also 2 ungetaktete 10Gbit/s Datendirektverbindungen, die ausgehend vom Fallgatter 11 (44369 Dortmund, DOKOM21) jeweils knoten- und kantendisjunkt zur Sonnenstraße 96 (44139 Dortmund, FH Dortmund) und zur Emil-Figge-Str. 44 (44227 Dortmund, FH Dortmund) geführt werden sollen (Los 1). Darüber hinaus soll eine symmetrische und ebenfalls ungetaktete 1 Gbit/s Internetanbindung am Standort Fallgatter 11, 44369 Dortmund zur Verfügung gestellt werden (Los 2).
