Middlesbrough College seeks creative solutions to deliver a machine centre training facility within their STEM Centre. A key aim of the machining centre is to create an environment that reflects those commonly found in a typical industrial production setting. These assets will be used mainly to deliver training in Performing Engineering Operations, Manual Machining, CNC Machining, Performing Manufacturing Operations and Design. A key element will be to introduce trainees to safe systems of work practices and help to strongly embed behavioural safety training.
