St Olavs Hospital Trust intends to procure large volume scanner for histological sections to supplement the current equipment park. It has been decided to procure from Phillips. Refer to the Appendix for justification and § below. §13-4. Terms for procurements without a contest. The contracting authority can make a procurement without a contest if the contracting authority will enter into a supplies contract for additional deliveries with the original supplier. The additional deliveries will be calculated to either partially replace deliveries or installations or to expand the existing deliveries or installations. This only applies when a change of supplier will force the contracting authority to procure goods with technical characteristics that are incompatible with the original deliveries or installations or that will make operation and maintenance disproportionately technically difficult.
