The subject of this tender is trenching and pipe laying, temporary and permanent road reinstatement and any other road/construction works as per tender documents and bill of quantities. The pipes to be laid are ductile iron cement-lined water mains, sleeved house service connections and HDPE pre-roped pipes for fibre-optics. uPVC waste water gravity mains and possibly removal of existing cesspits and connection of private waste water house connections up to building lines is envisaged over a small stretch of the proposed route. The pipes and fittings for waste water gravity mains shall be supplied by the Contractor while the pipes and fittings for the water mains and house service connections as well as all water/waste water manhole covers and surface boxes shall be supplied by the WSC.
