Ringsted-Fehmarn Banen. New Fair Way Vordingborg_Option: New Fairway Orehoved.

E 2004, New Fairway Vordingborg, is a Design and Build tender package including: — Dredging of around 225 000 m 3 sediment; — Transport and disposal of the sediments; — Control and measurement of sediment spill; — Sounding of the dredging areas; — Delivery and installation of aids to navigation. The fairway subsoil consists primarily of gyttja. The sediment is expected to be transported around 11 nautical miles (20.4 km) from the dredging site. Precautions will have to be taken to avoid the spreading of sediments into the adjacent Natura 2000 area.
