Cormac Solutions Ltd wishes to appoint suitably qualified subcontractors to a framework agreement, apportioned between lots based on type and value of works. At the time of publication the types of work include, but are not limited to, groundworks (drainage, kerbing, ducting, footways and minor earthworks), surfacing (machine lay and patching), concrete and concrete repairs, traffic management, anchoring, drilling and blasting, hedging and walling, paving, fencing, earthworks, demolition, surveying and setting out. This contract is to support and provide additional capacity for in-house civil engineering works. The framework has an initial duration of 12 months with options for three 12 month extensions. The maximum length of the framework will therefore be four years. The commencement date is anticipated to be towards the end of 2012. A Contract Notice will be published via the Official Journal of The European Union within the next few months. There will be a requirement for subcontractors, interested in taking part in this procurement project, to show compliance or accreditation to a nationally recognised industry health, safety and environmental management system, examples are: CHAS, Constructionline or Achilles. Whilst there is no guaranteed quantity or spend, CORMAC Solutions Ltd is likely to spend in the region of up to 12 000 000 GBP per annum across all lots.
