Early Market Engagement EventBackground: Within the next 12 months, Devon County Council will be tendering for a Healthy Lifestyle Service. The exact scope of this has not yet been confirmed; however the scope is likely to include but not limited to the following Lots — Lot 1 — Healthy Lifestyle HUB — Lot 2 — Stop Smoking Service Devon County Council are currently in the Pre Procurement Stage. In order to ensure Devon is at the forefront of the creation of new innovative healthy lifestyle service, Devon County Council is holding a Discovery Day on Monday 22.6.2015 (9:30 to 15:00) Exeter. The Discovery Day will provide an opportunity to bring together potential providers, policy leads, commissioners, subject experts and most importantly current and potential service users to explore what a new healthy lifestyle service should look like in Devon. AIM: The aim of the day is to collectively agree a clear brief of what the key challenges are for this service to solve. The outcome of day will help inform and shape the service specification, which will be tendered later in the year. Potential Providers who attend will: — Hear directly from Devon County Council commissioning and policy lead. — Listen to and speak to potential service users — Meet up with other potential providers from different domains (who you may or may not wish to network)— Gain clarity on the healthy lifestyle service story board — Listen and speak to local authority subject experts — Directly influence the service specification.
