Training simulators. Updated notice for Training Simulators. The Training and Simulation Systems Programme (TSSP) team, part of the UK Ministry of Defence, intends to award a contract to Krauss-Maffei Wegmann to provide maintenance and support to the Challenger 2 Live Fire Monitoring Equipment currently in service with UK MOD. Such activity shall involve the removal of obsolescence to enable Spectrum remediation, required for the continuity of training following the Government's Spectrum frequency sell off as a result of the Defence Spectrum Reform. It is intended that the Contract shall be for a period of 3.5 years with options to extend for 4 years.
